Biography

Candice PARISE, French singer with Spanish origins, received her schooling in American schools in Paris, France, where she met Franco-American vocal coach Angie Cazaux-Berthias, with whom she has been training and working in vocal technique for the past 14 years.

In 2006, Candice is chosen to represent Paris/Ile de France/Centre at the French Eurovision song contest, during which she will finish in the last 5 candidates. She then leaves Paris to work as a lead singer on a French cruise ship and starts to become very interested in jazz music and acting.
After her return, she attends the CIM Jazz School and various drama courses to her training process as the Studio Muller and the FACT in Paris, and adds dance classes at the Studio Harmonic and Rick Odums in Paris.

She also creates her own jazz band called the « Parise' Jazz Quintet » and has become the lead singer of the Rive Droite Rive Gauche jazz band for the past 5 years, with which she won three times the Public's Prize for Best Jazz Band at the Megève Jazz Festival.

As she has always been passionate about musical theater and wants to improve in mixing singing, acting and dancing, Candice decides to attend the London School of Musical Theater in 2009 and will successfully graduate in 2010 after what she will be cast for the part of « Crissy » in HAIR the Musical at the Gymnase and at the Palace Theaters in Paris, until september 2011.

Immediately after, Candice auditions in London to become « Esmeralda », lead role in the English version of « Notre Dame de Paris », the Musical. She leaves Europe in October 2011 for a 6 months tour in China and Korea.

As she returns, Candice auditions for « Romeo and Juliette » the Musical, by Gérard Presgurvic. She has the pleasure to obtain the alternate lead part of « Juliette », for a new tour in Japan and China, until January 2013.

Candice comes back to France for a short break in between two of the tour countries to play the part of « Eponine » in the production of « Les Misérables » at Boulogne, staged by C. Borie, for the Tsédaka Association, before returning to Shanghai for a few weeks as « Juliette ».

In Septembr 2013, Candice joins the cast of the American musical « Songs for a New World », as Woman 1, by Mr Jason Robert Brown, on stage in Paris from October 2013 and for a few months.

At the same time, she has the honor to be on the stage of the « Royal Palace » Cabaret in Kirrwiller as the lead singer of the show « Farouche », in Alsace as well as for the Casinos Barrière with the « Edilson Show Paris » Company, through France.

Candice just recorded a rock 'n' roll album with Ricky Norton, one of the most beautiful voices of French rock 'n' roll in France.

In July, Candice had the pleasure to hold the leading part of « Mi » in the Belgian musical « Piano-Plage » on stage at the Palais des Sports of Paris.

To end 2014, Candice is absolutely thrilled to announce she will be joining the cast of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber's French adaptation of « The Wizard of Oz », in the leading part of Dorothy, for new musical adventures at the Palais des Congrès of Paris in December 2014 and then on tour in France, but also in Beligum, until September 2015.
